The Thought Police

Two posts in one day. I'm butter, baby. This is the Thought Police. They are the steam-powered, physical manifestation of our desire to have proper and pure thoughts. They appear to enforce our laws of righteousness. Beware, if your thoughts are not correct, the Thought Police may come for you. What do they do to offenders? You would be surprised.

Effects

I like to experiment and sometimes I run across effects that I like. The stark black and white with the texture makes an interesting picture.

Black Steel 2

Continuing with the evolution of a character. Here we are again with my main man Bull. His appearance has gone from rocky to black steel and I wanted him adorned with etched tattoos. Notice, the hair is now black and I like that better. His appearance has two more states and I'll be getting around to that before long.

Sketch

I usually put up finished work. This time I'm putting up a sketch. I've been making an effort to get back to sketching. It's vital to keep your flow. This is a drawing of a character who is not in the Wyldcardz story, but will have his own, some day. I plan on finishing this piece. As I go along I'll post up the steps. I've always found that interesting looking at other artists' processes.

The Beatiful Ones

There are other characters in the Wyldcardz universe. This is Beautiful Sphinx. She's an information specialist. She broadcasts a pirate webcast straight to your frontal lobe so "those who want to kill imagination" can't censor them. Only the Thought Police can hi-jack the signal. Beautiful Sphinx is about truth, beauty and lifting the human consciousness from the fog that imprisons it.
